Well...I did the Sheep Shots thing again.
This time I had company.
You may think this gallery is filled with just a bunch
of shots taken of a bunch of sheep and goats.
Ok...you'd be right.
BUT, what you don't know is the extraordinary experience we had...behind the scenes.
Two photographers from Reno I had met on a previous
photo outing and a photographer from Elko
that we just happened to meet the first day of our
bighorn sheep excursion set off up the steep rocky terrain
in hopes of finding the sheep. We spent three days hiking
the Ruby Mountains in Lamoille Canyon.
These photos tell the story of mingling amongst the sheep,
having lunch with the ewes and young rams, probably getting closer
than we should have but coming away with much more than just pictures;
a bonding of friendships and lasting memories of one incredible adventure.

What an amazing three days of shooting sheep and goats along
with freezing our fannies off in the evenings shooting star trails.
