Weekday, Cedar Vale, Kansas

I spent about 40 minutes in this area and never saw a soul. Click to see the memorial located alongside the bare wall of this picture. It is a combined effort of a number of small towns.

This looks like "depression" to me - a sad sight - great shot with the line to nowhere ! V

Looks like a real happening' town... (:>)

It's hard to imagine that such empty towns like this still exist....only 2 cars and not a soul in sight! Your image emphasizes a real sense of isolation and past life of this place.

An extremely quiet place and time. I wonder how many live in this small town.

looks a bit too peaceful here...well done to last 40 minutes..

The wide view and clear sky emphasizes the emptiness.
