Thank God, I found you! The BIRD SONG BIBLE, I was given last Christmas, angers me. The man has no concept that the Southeast exists. I could NOT find the Song Sparrow. Rather sit and "listen" to how they sound, I pulled the bird song box out and use it to call my friends in to eat. Unfortunately, the book does not represent our birds properly so I have to go through a variation of different calls. Watching them from afar, I see whether or not they respond. Thank you for these INVALUABLE photos! Now God has blessed me with you as well as our feathered friends. I choke up looking through your wonderful portraits. No one should call them anything but that! They say how I feel. ~ Janet

very good shot, excellent focus. i enjoy your photos, and have used many of them in a studty guide on learning to id birds.
