your pictures helped me identify one bird on my pond. It is a ring-necked Duck and I believe a female as he seems to be watching over her. I also have a pair of malards ( usually 2 or 3 pairs) I have one bird that is staying in the center for over a week now. Any time it senses movement it ducks under water. I have a feeling it is an injured bird. I can not find any pictures of it. Another bird that stays around but not on the water is very much like your gull. It has a all black head including the beek, white body, grey outer wings and orange legs with web feet.If you know of any information, I would appreciate it.
