Thanks guys. This one was hard for me. It took me several days of fiddling with the ACT-100 until I realized that the proverbial f/5.6 just wasn't going to give me adequate sharpness at full zoom. Then . . . I had to have a tripod. Then . . . the weather changed . . . and, on and on. Yes, Gordon, it is surreal. Please check the originals gallery! :) -- Bruce

Wow! Absolutely awesome and surrealistic image, Bruce, and the sky is equally unreal. For some reason though, it brings to mind being at ground level in a Star Wars battle. Much as I hate to say it, it probably wouldn't have the same impact in color (I know Adrian is smiling with this one ;-). - Gordon

Yum Yum. I love archeological shots. Methinks this must be the great Floridian aquaduct ruins of the late American Empire, perhaps late 20th Century. Beautiful.

Yes - the scale really makes this work. The viewer can't help but feel dwarfed by the structure.

hmmmmm....... darn it - two superb entries Bruce - votings going to be torture - I think this ones my fav - great comp, and the combination of the light and your b&w treatment match the 'scale' of this bridge. thanks heaps.. adrian
