you did a great job with this one too, Paul! I wish I could see things in puddles...

Thanks all for these positive comments on my "puddle pic". Paul.

This image has stayed with me since I first saw it and I have come back for the fourth time. Execution is wonderful in color and composition. It is a rent in the fabric of drudgery to view the brightness of reality no mater how rudimentary.

This is really terrific - you could not have done a better job with the colors. I'd like this hanging in my office (or den). cbses

Hi Paul,
Well paint my wagons a 2nd time. Very nice pic with excellent use of the natural elements (and some unnatural ones in Photoshop), even if you had to pass up the opportunity for a more conventional pic to achieve this one.
Cheers, John

Hi Paul,

I like this one even better than your other. Another great concept executed perfectly. Good work

Being a GIMP user, I am not sure I understand your filter talk. To me this is just a really great idea and a very nice shot. It is simple and does not look artificial at all.

Marc.

Hi /Fred, I also always wondered what those filters were for. Looked like pretty useless. But they can turn a "puddle" shot into something more. Mind you, all watercolor settings were on their minimal values, = maximal detail. Paul.

Hi Paul.
Very nice picture, and I really like the way you have pp:d the image. I've alwas thought the effect filters in PS and PSE were pretty useless. You have just showed me they're not.
/Fred

Hmm, I like this one even more than your first, Paul. But that's more because I like 'abstract' approaches. Good use of the 'superkalifragilous' filter ;-). I love your painting !

Alain.
