More Carlos Santana, today with "Samba Pa Ti", a wonderful musical piece from Santana's 1970 album Abraxas. An excellent acoustic version which illustrates Carlos' guitar playing skills which rank him in up there with the likes of Beck, Clapton, Knopfler, etc. What is remarkable about Santana is that like many extraordinary artists he lives 24 x 365 for his music. We've listened to Santana recently; I must be in a Latin & Salsa mood ;-)

For the next while, I'm starting a musical artist chain, highlighting interesting performances by two or more artists, for example: today - Santana & Wyclef, then Wyclef & Clapton, Clapton & Crowe, and so on. I've been noticing that often a multi-artist performance brings out competition, resulting in better overall events. I'll try and find the best events with good quality recordings.

Wiki: Jean, a Haitian immigrant, moved with his family to Brooklyn, New York, when he was nine. His musical breakthrough was as part of The Refugee Camp, a three-member group that included Lauryn Hill and Prakazrel "Pras" Michel. Jean is Pras's cousin and a fellow Haitian immigrant. The Fugees signed to Ruffhouse Records, which released the group's debut album, Blunted on Reality. It peaked at #49 on the U.S. Hot 100 and sold over 2 million copies worldwide.
