Mary Kanters and Ashley Johnson. Ashley is the recipient of Mary's daughter Vicki's heart and they have formed a strong bond ever since. Vicki was killed in a vehicle rollover and Mary together with her husband Uldis Celmins made the courages decision to donate Vicki's organs. Years later, Mary herself had a double-lung transplant.
