Elephant Plains

This is the same leopard that had been feeding on the impala earlier in the day. It was taken just before sunset when she was resting in a tree near the kill.

This is my favourite photo from your trip, Michael.You've captured an extraordinarily intimate moment for this beautiful cat as she nestles heavy with kill into the tree bough...contemplating...ruminating...drifting off with contentment. Her expression is mesmerising. Thank you for sharing it.
