The Smith and Wesson .38 Special belonged to my grandfather Ed Jones, and was his sidearm during his entire tenure as Sheriff and US Marshall in Union County Georgia in the twenties, thirties and forties. The Silver Dollars were a gift from Grandmother Jones who would send them to her grandkids at Christmas. The phone comes from the Towery side of the family.
