Unlike others in this collection, the heart of this image was made with
Adobe Illustrator. The image was imported into Illustrator, where it
was divided up into a mosaic of 100 x 75 small tiles. A thin black border
was drawn around each tile—automatically, of course! The tiles were subjected
to random stretching shifting to create the unevenness in the final picture.
The Illustrator image was then re-exported to Photoshop, from where it was
printed. A unique feature of this process is that the image could be printed
as large as one likes, without loss in quality. Billboard, anyone?
