Naomi & Chelsea

Hazelbury Mill, near Crewkerne, Somerset

My daughter-in-law (left) at a good friend's wedding blessing.
*
Just a quick note to thank you all for your tremendous and generous support in recent days! I am regularly touched by the kindness of your comments, as well as their consistency, particularly bearing in mind my own inability at times to respond.
*
I have a lot of sympathy with Gerard Koehl, an excellent landscape photographer, who has resorted to not allowing comments or votes on account of the amount of time it takes to respond. I was tempted to do likewise, but would hugely miss the interaction with my Pbase friends. I find this a most encouraging and friendly community.
*
My heart also goes out to Zoltan Balogh whose father is seriously ill and who, therefore, doesn't have as much time to give to Pbase. I'm sure you join with me in wishing him and his father well.
*
Thanks again everyone! My best regards, Chris.

A beautiful portrait of these two beautiful ladies Chris. Nice tones and nice framing too.

I agree with your comments about commenting on Pbase postings. I enjoy viewing the many excellent postings by fellow Pbasers. I also enjoy the interaction of leaving and receiving comments. It takes time, too much sometimes, however to to reduce the amount of time, I've encouraged those on whose images I've commented not to acknowledge or thank me for individual comments from me.

Lovely portrait. Great job, my friend.
I join you wishing the best for Zoltan's father.
I have sympathy with Gerard also. Not allowing comment? Interaction is the base of any site, yes it is. However, learning is an important step also and one learns also watching. Friendship is the fundamental basis here and there are no delays among friends.
I'm with you, Chris.

A beautiful portrait of two beautiful ladies. Excellent work. v

Thank you Chris for your encouraging words. Without the encouraging comments from my all my PBase friends, I might have given up shooting, post-processing and posting altogether.

I wish Zoltan's father a speedy recovery.

A wonderful and happy double portrait Chris. "V"
The commenting may be time consuming, but the interaction and the friendships formed more than makes up for the time spent. I have been very fortunate to meet quite a few PBasers in person, and had it not been for the commenting we would have never met.

Great portrait of these two lovely ladies. V
Yes, I was rather surprised and disappointed that I could not comment on Gerard's photographs, he is a great photographer. At least he is still posting so that we can enjoy his work. And I would like to join you in wishing Zoltan's father a speedy recovery.

a delightful pair glowing with mutual affection..quite a flower show on Chelsea too...yes the commenting is time consuming, yet also rewarding for both the feedback, the contact with an international community of photographers, and the opportunity to enjoy and learn from the many great images posted daily...V

Gorgeous portrait of two gorgeous ones! Understand the part about the comments and the interaction as well. Such are the horns of a dilemma.
