We spotted a small herd of Svalbard Reindeer in the distance past this antler.
Bob Smith, our on-board staff nature photographer, grouped us together and
instructed us to quietly and slowly walk in a zig-zag pattern towards the herd
with our heads down to not signal alarm. By acting as just another grazing
animal, we were able to get within 30 to 40 feet of the herd to take pictures.
