First 20D Pics

These are the first pics to come off my 20D. They were taken on an overcast day with my Canon 20D camera and Sigma 105mm F/2.8 Macro lens. It was extremely windy that day and was hard to get pictures in focus as the trees (and bees) were rocking back and forth. I did get these though because I used F2.8 to get the highest shutter speed I could. Of course, DOF was tight.

The 20d is amazing. I've shot at 3200 ISO with great results.

I think you did good for your first attempts with a new camera and a windy day. A lot of the macro shots really benefit from the shallow DOF anyway, IMO. I am currently using and Elan 7 and a G5. I'll probably buy a digital SLR within the next year, and it will probably be the 20d. By the way, I also have the Sigma 105 macro. Nice lens, isn't it?

iso1600?! The (lack of) noise on those sky shots is amazing.

nice clean and crispy shots , i dont see any difference with the 10d .
