Litter is everywhere! It infuriates me when I see it in our country. People simply do not care! I carried gloves and garbage bags in my car when I would go to the lake to do photography and would pick up trash while I was there. Now that area of the lake is behind a locked chain link fence as it is under development... more concrete... more people... more traffic! And no one seems to care about nature and keeping things green.

Why do people do this all the time. On the other hand a good advertisement for C***A Coffee...V
Buz Kiefer03-Oct-2018 18:21
Nice reminder of the way some people litter the most beautiful of scenery. V

My pet hate, litter! The scene beyond looks lovely.
Colin Storey30-Sep-2018 19:20
Such a shame that people do that in such beautiful locations.
exzim30-Sep-2018 19:13
Love the pebbles, no sand ?
Walter Otto Koenig30-Sep-2018 19:03
Nice focus and depth of field. I am sure you took the cup with you. "V"

The planet is being smothered, one cup at a time.

A picture tells a 1,000 words... they are still serving coffee in these non-recyclable mugs.
danad30-Sep-2018 10:15
Enough plastic! Due to your skill this makes a good picture ! V.

That cup in the foregrounds says it all. Very well composed shot with perfect DOF to tell the story.

Well it adds a spot of interest to your image. Looks like litterbugs are worldwide.
janescottcumming30-Sep-2018 02:21
I was hoping that it was your coffee that you set in the photo to add some color to the foreground and that you would be picking it up and taking it with you when you were done photographing this pretty scene.

A wonderful image of this disgusting habit of littering.
David.
Helen Betts29-Sep-2018 23:17
I just don't see how somebody could do that!
Chris Morton29-Sep-2018 21:28
I at last managed to produce a cup of coffee about as disgusting as theirs today using a cafetiere and 2 normal amount for 'in the mug'; may be pre-heating was wrong

It amazes me that so many young people embrace the non-disposable society. Not that too many of them litter the beach or street though. And I'm mentioning the younger generation as I would expect them to think about the planet for which they'll be custodians of for the next decades. I hate to think how many of these cups are produced each year, which cannot really be recycled. Perhaps every person should have been issued with a free reusable beaker. The cost would have not been beyond our means.
