Is it a Brexit sign, from someone who can't work out the time.
Graeme13-Dec-2016 10:27
Some signs are so misleading like this one, Martin...lol..V
Range View 11-Dec-2016 20:59
A very confusing sign. After reading it a number of times I agree with John (Reynolds).
Between 9 am to 5pm you can park for 5 hours but not less than 2 hours. Fantastic candid capture Martin!

I'd like to hear the official explanation for this sign! Nice and sharp image. V

It is a bit confusing!!!
Ton T.10-Dec-2016 14:57
Great image John! My advice: sell your car V

I hate signs that give me head aches ;-) I like the light in your capture! ~V~
Clarence King09-Dec-2016 21:25
Looks like a sign devised by a committee. v
Stephanie09-Dec-2016 12:08
I am also confused by this sign! lol!
Ken Chambers ARPS09-Dec-2016 11:44
Having given this some thought... Does the 5 hours have to be continuous....or can it be made up of segments, say five one hour slots, within the 9am to 5 pm period ...
I wonder how the Council can Police that !
borisalex09-Dec-2016 10:08
So were is the parking area?
Bill Miller09-Dec-2016 07:06
Hmm, are you allowed to walk on the grass to get to your parked car ?
Range View 09-Dec-2016 02:33
A most interesting sign that has created terrific comments Martin.
David.
Walter Otto Koenig09-Dec-2016 00:49
I am with David. Just park and go for walk. If you get a ticket, send the photo to the traffic court. "V"
Jean D09-Dec-2016 00:44
A very tricky sign, Martin
Ken Chambers ARPS08-Dec-2016 23:08
Is the parking area on the narrow road or the acres of parkland surrounding the sign ?
chris morton08-Dec-2016 22:43
hardly looks worth placing; more used to it being 1/2 hour
bill friedlander08-Dec-2016 21:27
Do you have to wait 2 hours before you can recycle the car?
Helen Betts08-Dec-2016 21:14
I think you have to keep the car out of the car park for two hours once you leave to avoid moving it a space and staying there all day. Sure is a confusing sign, though! V.
Johnny JAG08-Dec-2016 21:09
Too confusing, I'd just park somewhere else
Ray :)08-Dec-2016 20:57
If you park for a wee at 10am and unexpectedly are still discharging human liquid at 12noon, then you have to force yourself for two hours, as you cannot regain your parking space or one nearby until 2pm.

Or you could go somewhere else.
Such as a hospital.
John Reynolds LRPS08-Dec-2016 20:46
Right...during Monday to Friday between 9 am and 5 pm you can park for up to 5 hours and no longer. Once you have left the car park you cannot return to park again within 2 hours. If it's not Monday to Friday between 9 ma and 5 pm you can park for as long as you want. That's my take...
joseantonio08-Dec-2016 20:41
the part of "no return within 2 hours" hast got my attention.V.
Colin Storey08-Dec-2016 20:26
Great image of this confusing sign.
globalgadabout08-Dec-2016 20:12
a sign definitely open to interpretation..
Phillip Normanton08-Dec-2016 20:11
Or does it mean you have to park for a minimum of two hours? What if you only stopped for a wee?! :D
