Nearly 2 weeks on the island staying in the lighthouse.

Situated on the N East of the island @ Quenard Point, the Lighthouse acts as a guide through the Alderney Race, a treacherous strait of water between the island and Cap de la Hague in France

Your photo documents a sky of absolutely purity which makes easy to us imagining the salty smell of the wind.
The lighthouse, shining and captured with excellent exposure, is wisely placed on the left of the scene to not overwhelm the landscape but it remains, nevertheless its main centre of attention.
I deeply like this photo, Martin!
