My friend Phil Douglis and I were standing side-by-side taking this picture. I like this one because it seems as if the ravens were muttering to each other much as Phil and I were.
This was a remarkable moment -- the two of us, side by side, shooting two ravens side by side. You've caught the ravens looking at each other, while I shot them both looking in the same direction athttp://www.pbase.com/pnd1/image/75091209 -- with the one on the left in my picture in the process of mouthing off. You chose to make the shadows longer, while I chose to include the tip of Manley Beacon. We tell the same story at the same time from the same spot, yet in quite different ways.
