Superb composition! Not the usual tourist view from the Wawona Tunnel parking lot. It's a little bit like the view of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone from Artist Point, only with more trees. And your title reminds us that Yosemite Valley was "discovered" by Europeans hunting for gold. V
