I’ve decided that I would trace the history of my 1967 Volvo 122 that I am restoring. I know very little about the car, and to be perfectly honest I don’t remember much about my own purchase of the car. I know I found it online, but I can’t remember if it was on ebay or Autotrader. I bought the car in 2003…or was it 2004? Hmm… you know I can’t even remember how much I paid for it. I know I got it from a guy in Fort Meyers, Florida. That much I do know.
While taking the car apart I took the rear quarter panel interior trim panels out and found a ton of trash that was stuffed down the ash tray hole in the trim panel. I found all kinds of old candy wrappers that looked kinda cool, old fonts and what not. I also found what looked like a childs art work and the name Anderson written on one of the pieces of paper. Thats when I decided to do some research on the history of the car.
