Waiting for Customers at the Back-Lit Bar

Glenburn, Pennsylvania

With OJ and Tomato Juice pre-prepared for an onslaught of business, this bartender at Patsel's is eagerly awaiting his customers to line up. Keeping his eyes focused, he knows that quick and concise action and service on his part means a bigger, more lucrative tip. My opinion - he could sure use a better smile. The backlighting at the bar, was no problem for him..... only a problem for me, the photographer, deciding whether or not to use partial metering in this situation. I decided to stay with the evaluative metering, but I am not so sure that was a good idea, as I had to use Photoshop to adjust the harsh lighting coming from behind the bar.

Michael, I am sorry but all these essays about partial or evaluative metering just spoilt the grace of the moment... As far as my concern;- did you have a drink or not ?!

Looks a little subdued back there among the bottles but I like this image.
