Superstition Mountain Panorama 79088-90

Apache Junction on the desert floor

This mountain is what remains of a massive cataclysmic volcanic eruption 20 million years ago,
that destroyed everything for 100 miles (160 km) around and sent ash 1,000 miles (1,600 km)
and likely effected the earth's climate for years afterward. Would have been something to see,
if one could have survived it.

Three shots stitched together.

Photographed in the Sonoran Desert from north of Mesa, Arizona USA.

That is a very impressive mountain and your panorama presents it very well.
