A stoic Royal Tern takes a nonstop stream of verbal abuse from another one.

Can't imagine the real cause of this little drama between birds on a beach,
but it did bring to mind some obvious parallels to the human experience.

Finally, with great dignity and head held high after enduring all the insults
it can, the abused tern is finally able to get away from its tormentor...
whose feathers have obviously been ruffled from it efforts.
