For all you hear about longhorn cattle being associated with Texas,
I've seen few of them in my travels around the state, however today
I not only saw one but it posed very nicely for me.
The longhorns are a tough breed that withstood long cattle drives. Now they use cattle that fatten quickly and are shipped to cattleyards. I get a thrill every time I see them in a field, which is rarely. You are right about not seeing very many. Voted.
