I think this might have a high number of hits because the thumbnail looks like something completely different that what the photo is --

If you look at the thumbnail you'll notice that the "loops" at the top of the image look like huge cartoon eyeballs looking upward, and the faces (angels?) look like ears and nose. The base is the "heads" neck.

All of this makes the thumbnail suggest the photo is some sort of surreal cartoon, which (sorry, in this case) is more interesting that the real image.

Anyways, that's my theory.

Interesting, looks like hail or glass beads. I think I do like the image with flowing water better, for some reason. Nice though : )

Un travail original, une composition un peu centrée mais compensé par un arrière plan "flou" juste comme il faut et une "couche" avant plan de goutte d'eau à l'effet des plus sympa
