This little honey hole was the reward for a scorching couple of hours walking on Island 13. I wouldn't have known it was here if a couple of birds hadn't dropped in from a distance. Other than here, no other shorebirds were seen on 13 except Killdeer. This hole will likely be dry soon.
At this location were:
1 Semipalmated Plover
25 Killdeer
~75 Least Sandpipers
3 Semipalmated Sandpipers
9 Baird's Sandpipers
17 Buff-breasted Sandpipers
5 Spotted Sandpipers
2 Stilt Sandpipers
