These are a few of a flock of at least 24 Swans Jeff Wilson and I saw on the ice out from Britton Ford. These birds were at least 3/4 of a mile away, so we couldn't be sure of the ID, but it seemed to be a mixed species flock of both Tundra and Trumpeter Swans. In addition to apparent differences in size among the birds, one immature bird had a classic Tundra pattern of dusky head and white body, while a couple of others were dusky all over, leaning towards Trumpterer.
