Yet another bird we see regularly in TN, but that I'm yet to get this kind of photo op with back home. Practically every bird seen on inhabited beaches was a Sanderling, Turnstone, or Willet, with the Whimbrels being the exception. I got this photo while photographing the Whimbrels.
