Red was vastlty outnumbered by Red-necked (about 1800 to 100), but we saw several nice alternate-plumage birds, my first ever. This much duller bird was the only one I got a photo of though. The yellow base of the bill really stands out, and the clean white underwing (compare to Red-necked photo at end of gallery).
