Well it never reached the heights of Sydney, New York, Edinburgh, Dubai or London
However, the skint Aberdeen Council should be commended for a wonderful 15 minute display on midnight
The big projected banner on His Majesties Theatre displayed Happy New Year in numerous languages from around the globe
