Crovie Village

Crovie, Scotland

A mile eastward of Gardenstown is the little picturesque fishing village of Crovie
Squeezed as it is between the cliffs and the sea, Crovie occupies such a narrow stretch of land that there is only enough room leftover for a footpath
which runs along the seawall to give access to the village's houses
As residents have to make do with a small car park, all visitors to Crovie are requested to park their cars slightly up the hill

Super shot of a fascinating place......makes you wonder how and when it came to be built in such a location.

Did you walk along the coastal path from Gardenstown? That's a nice wee walk....especially at high tide!! Still using the 30D, I see....I guess the postman didn't call then :( I like the viewpoint here Tony.
