Crovie Village

Crovie, Scotland

A mile eastward of Gardenstown is the little picturesque fishing village of Crovie
Squeezed as it is between the cliffs and the sea, Crovie occupies such a narrow stretch of land that there is only enough room leftover for a footpath
which runs along the seawall to give access to the village's houses.
As residents have to make do with a small car park, all visitors to Crovie are requested to park their cars slightly up the hill.

I've always wanted to live within sight and sound of the sea; so this looks the place for me!

Wonderful. Looks like the village from 'Local Hero'.... is there a red phone box anywhere?

It must be an amazing place to live. No tsunamis or hurricanes, obviously! Interesting and beautiful compositions.

Nice POV of the narrow walk and rocky shore!

Great series of shots particularly like the guy pusing the barrow. I seem to remember the vistors are asked to park more than a little way up the hill!
