Success! I wrote in my last post that I thought I might now have permission to photograph at an Amish camel farm, that I had been turned away from previously. It turned out I knew the brother of the camel farmer and he went ahead and vouched for me. Yes indeed I had permission and went by spend a few fun hours at the camel farm today. The camel farmer told me he saw my camera on my first visit and thought I was with the press. He told me he didn’t want the publicity that might turn his farm into a local tourist attraction. Today was so different from that first meeting. He was friendly and welcoming and I had a great time photographing his camels and other livestock. I’m looking forward to many more trips to the farm and more enjoyable experiences to come. (He told me he’d really like a picture of his camels.) I’ll get printing pronto. Yahoo!
