Under all those pricklies...
...lies a cute little bunny-rabbit's face. :)

While walking up an animal trail to snap a quick
image of a bridge in Alaska, I thought a grizzly had
surprised me (ALWAYS a bad thing)...because from the
corner of my eye...I saw long, brown fur on BOTH sides
of the bush next to me--something you DON'T want to happen...

-To my relief, it was a group of three porcupines.
They took off running...so I followed this one until he
headed straight toward a small tree that hung over the edge
of a CLIFF. Since he had nowhere to run...I managed
to shoot this close-up with the least-likely of all lenses...
...my 20-35mm wide-angle. -The LAST lens you'd reach for,
but in this case...it worked! :)
