The mom yelling in one of the images was in labor and just gave birth. The female next to her was trying to steal the baby but in the end gave up. The nature guide thought she was just confused on which pup was hers. mark

You've captured some engaging images of elephant seals in this gallery. I grew up in Santa Cruz and have often visted Ano, so have taken quite a few shots of these huge seals myself.
