Portmeirion, a Photographer's Paradise

Bright colours, whimsical architecture, quirky details, well stocked and colourful gardens, and wonderful vistas - what more could a photographer want?

Portmeirion, situated in Gwynedd, Wales is truly a photographer's paradise.

And on my two visits, I was blessed with glorious weather!

Lots of very nice images,but not the castle!A real Norman/Welsh motte lies in the woods immediately south/west of the large pond.Halfway up the cliff is a metal canopied bandstand-type affair.Directly behind that in the woods is the motte.
