Drottningholm

Palace 15 km west of Stockholm since 1981 residence of the King and Queen of Sweden. The present palace was built in 1662-1699. It is famous for it's theater with a still working 18th century stage machinery. There is a large rococo park filled with statues taken during Sweden's wars in Europe during the 17th century. Kina slott built in Chinese style in rococo style but with an asian twist.
