écomusée d'Alsace

The Alsace Ecomuseum is a reconstitution of a real Alsatian village, with 73 houses which were dismantled and rebuilt here.
Created by a handful of enthusiasts who wanted to save authentic Alsatian houses from destruction, it has grown to become one of the largest open-air museums in Europe.

Village recomposé de 70 maisons paysannes authentiques, métiers et fêtes traditionnels, champs et jardins et manèges anciens.

Je connais ce musée pour l'avoir visité.

Je l'ai trouvé fantastique car dans ce leiu on peut aisément se représenter la vie d'antan.

Tes photos sont très belles et montrent présentent magnifiquement ce musée.

Juste came back from this beautiful site, I am an Alsatian and proud to see that it pleases so many guests! But very hard to visit with someone in a wheelchair.. Thanks for the great pictures.

J'y suis passé pratiquement à ses début et selon ce que vous en dites, le site a joliment évolué. Merci pour ces belles images d'une si jolie contrée. Je pense que vous connaissez l'origine du mot "Immeuble" : à l'époque les maisons à colombage se démontant facilement, faisait partie des meubles légués en héritage. A la mort de leurs parents, la maison revenait à la fille (ou à son frère je ne sais plus) qui partait la reconstruire ailleurs, alors que le terrain restait au frère (ou vice-versa). Mais la technique ayant évoluée, il ne devint plus possible de démonter la demeure (l'origine peut être la même !) qui devint immobile, d'où le nom d'immeuble ! Nous possédons un exceptionnel écomusée en Suisse, à Ballenberg sur les rives du lac de Brienz. C'est un passage obligé pour qui veut comprendre et connaître l'histoire du pays et je vous en recommande la visite.
