The Balkan Accordionist

Torino (Italy)

He was playing in a totally empty little square
and there was absolutely nobody around.
No passers-by, not traffic.
But he was playing a kind of dramatic melody, something speaking of a different country.
I asked him if I could take a picture and he accepted nodding, with a very dignified look.
I felt like if I had been allowed to take a portrait of a king...maybe he was one!

Another terrific street musician shot. You have gotten me started on them! Now I take my little Canon camera with me just to record the sound, even if I am photographing with a dslr.
