Gardens are a form of autobiography...

When we don’t speak openly of ourselves we reveal more important details to the few who have the skill of grasping what is indirectly suggested.
When we think, on the opposite, that everyone must be interested in us and we try to attract others’ attention by all means, we are never ourselves. We are the actors of a poor play.

This photo is part of a thematic gallery
about apparently insignificant details and their possible meanings.

I like the use of the window to draw in the eye then the flowers do the framing.
Simple but effective and pleasing.

An evocative and romantic image, and one immediately assumes much about the person(s) who live there. I think I'd like them! Gardens surely are a form of autobiography. We put our tastes, ideas, style... on display when we create our versions of paradise. VV
