We have a proverb in Switzerland « Il faut remettre l’église au milieu du village »…
It literally means « It’s necessary to put the church in the middle of the village » and it is another way of describing all particulars, including the most detailed, explaining very clearly and firmly something to someone who don’t understand or doesn’t want to understand.
It’s like saying "Be sure to cross your T's and dot all your I's"

In the present circumstances the enjoyable exploration of the village of Stein am Rhein is slightly troubled by the iteration which Sergey displays in looking for grilled sausages, which seem to be inexistent like the mythical Arabian phoenix which rises from the ashes (and since the comparison is with grilles sausages it seems quite suitable).
