The Paddle Wheel Boat to Geneva…

Nyon - Vaud (Switzerland)

I’m exceptionally out of my cave in the middle of the day.
The paddle wheel boat to Geneva leaves from our pier at 13:00, it overcrowded with tourists and vacationers who for reasons which remains out of my understanding choose to stay all in the merciless sun, while the old and nicely restored boat offer also refreshing and cosy places in the shade.
There is something appealing in looking at boats and trains. The way they leave while we stay…The unknown stories of their unknown passengers…

All the photos of this series, which should be considered a homogenous work, compose a visual description of my very personal idea of summer. Each photo is posted on the same day it’s taken, they have all square format.

A pleasant and slow way to travel, with cool breezes over the water, its a pity it is not a sail boat............... V

Wish I was aboard this paddle boat and heading out to sea. A beautiful capture of it, Marisa.Vote

Your cascading composition works for me. The way the mountain slopes down and hooks up with the roof of the boat is wonderful. I spotted it right away. V
