Every cat has a peculiar personality in our neighbourhood….

Nyon - Vaud (Switzerland)

This cat is quite ugly, his fur is a messy mixture of colours which don’t match; he runs all crooked, not as elegantly as the other felines, but he’s healthy and friendly and definitely pleasant.
It’s not a mystery that cats are the only domestic animal I really have a liking for.
So going out in the morning for coffee and newspapers with the most important person in my life and meeting a funny cat to give a lively note to a still empty street, all that in a day when summers still looks like reasonable autumn…I could not ask for more!

All the photos of this series, which should be considered a homogenous work, compose a visual description of my very personal idea of summer. Each photo is posted on the same day it’s taken, they have all square format.
You might see also the others, if you have time.

A sweet and touching image....it portrays perfectly that your lovely VIP and equally lovely moggie have a mutual admiration for each other. Delightful!

That's a "torti" cat... typically they're very affectionate, and usually female. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I'd take that little furball in a heartbeat. She'd match the one I have purrfectly! :)

What a superb portrait (not the cat, the person). So lifelike. Bravo.
