This is a fine composition, rich in details with a strong perspective that draws the eye across the foreground to the chateau. I also like the choice not to boost the contrast - giving a peaceful feeling. To me the suppression of red tones enhances the cold atmosphere and suggests a heavily overcast mid-afternoon. ~V~

Marisa, a well structured photograph, The house not grabbing the whole scene allowing the garden to be seen and enjoyed. I just want to live there (but not pay the fuel bills!)

Wow, looks intensly cold, but still a winter wonderland.

You are getting the same kind of weather we are. Some snow! I love the blue tones in this, it gives it the feeling of very early morning scene. The clouds are a bit dramatic too, looks like they want to give up some more snow flakes? Ever do HDR? Would have really "popped" the clouds. Nice work as always!

Looks very still and cold and the wall close up adds to the depth and stark mood.
The trees and house look pin sharp and brittle as if ready to snap.

A classically lovely winter image. This looks like the Castle the Snow Queen might have lived in. I like the way you have positioned it to the left and given space to the trees on the right. The foreground gardens provide an interesting pattern for the eye to follow.

Is it a castle with a public garden ? Such a nice place here and with the wintercover called snow, it even looks prettier. sigh..... yes the blues..... that's the only thing here in switzerland which gives me a hard time, meaning that it can be cloudy and gray for weeks to come. Very nice photograph, Marisa.
