The island is called Isola dei Pescatori – Fishermen’s Island- but maybe they should call it “Isola dei Gatti” – Cats’ island-.

The elegant presence of the little domestic versions of tigers and leopards is one of the features which makes this place so special and, if you like cats, appealing.

As Sergey says, you can keep a dog; but it is the cat who keeps people, because cats find humans useful domestic animals.
