What I like in my relative experience of traveller is to have temporary points of references, which make me identify as “home” a place where I stay maybe for only a few days, compared with other places I visit in the same period.
It gives me a feeling of easiness...
I’m aware it’s only a mental play, but it makes also a positive psychological change at the end of a day, when one turns the page of the daily impressions and feels more relaxed in what has been chosen as a substitute private space.
So, after a very enjoyable visit of the other islands and of a little town on the lake shore, we slip gratefully into a lazier dimension, which allows us to feel a little tired physically even though enriched mentally.
It’s our little island, we are home.
