I don’t know this merry couple. I have not any idea about them.
In Avignon we stayed exactly in the main square, in front of the Town Hall.
One morning, just after breakfast, we went out and we saw the bride and the groom coming out from the Town hall registry office, immediately after the ceremony, with all their guests and relatively around.
I smiled at them and I asked if I could take a photo, they immediately posed, so I suggested them to not look straight on into my lens, so the photos would have been nicer and they kindly followed my instruction, at the same time a lot of other people were taking pictures of them, so we were just pushed a bit aside and I decided to not disturb them anymore.
I bet they thought I was one of their guests...probably the bride supposed I might be a distant and unknown cousin of her brand new husband, while the groom was rather inclined to think I might be a guest from his wife’s side. You know how it happens in weddings...people don’t know all each other.
Anyway I’m sure nobody missed us!
The couple was nice and spontaneous.
