An unplanned day-trip to Arezzo

During our stay in Firenze, one day we found ourselves walking by the railway station early in the morning and we suddenly decided to take the first train to Arezzo.
It was a totally unplanned excursion, and we could not imagine that all the centre of Arezzo was transformed in a big flea-market exactly on that day.
Nevertheless it was a pleasant first visit, even though it was a bit too crowded to take the photos I would have liked taking. So we moved to Subbiano, a lovely village very close to Arezzo and we found there all the quiet we were looking for…

The real reason for coming to Subbiano is revealed! What is living by a tower bell like? A door with a long story...
The Arno river in Subbiano... We arrived in Subbiano under a stormy sky... Walking along an old, empty street we left Arezzo...
Following cats is always a good idea.... If you want to get rid of flea-market confusion, follow me... By Vespa of course!
The mail box... The peace of a side courtyard... Fancy a glass of local wine?
A break for a snack... The flea-market dealer's hard life.... We found Piazza Grande full of stalls of the flea-market...
Looking for Piazza Grande.... In case one felt like learning to play a musical instrument... Chandeliers options...
