Three days in Vietnam were not enough to record such a rich mileau of people and culture.

HALONG BAY is a rustic place bustling with unique activities.

HANOI, on the other hand, is a host to a rich variety of sights and sceneries.

My camera was busy clicking here and there. Here are some of my capture of this unique place in South East Asia.

As you must have noticed previously in TE, my daughter and son are both half vietnamese, and although I don't post myself photographs of this country (perhaps I'm not ready for that yet, being a much too personal relation), I could not pass by without leaving a comment on your beautiful images. You go far beyond the simple touristic or even journalistic type of photograph. Not only your aesthetic sense of observation allows an incredibly beautiful, and personal, view on this country and its people, but you almost, sometimes, touch something that we cannot name precisely but that is strictly correlated to the soul of the living beings you photograph. Very good work.

Hi! The technique is called panning. You follow your focus with the moving object. This was an experiment actually for me. Somehow, it worked. I don't know if it will next time. Manny

What a STUNNING gallery!! Vietnam has always been on my list of places I'd like to visit someday... Can you tell me.... on the photoes with the movement (i.e., people riding bikes), how is it that some things are focused, and other things in the same shot show movement? (I don't know much about photography technically speaking, but am trying to learn...) Thanks.
