Mallard Lake burr


This image was captured last May just before sunset.
The scene was very vivid, but the image seemed dull.
Everytime I thought about it, I decided the post-processing
was to blame -- and the burr digging into my skin
kept reminding me I should revisit it.
Now it's October and the second image
is a new attempt to get it right.
